Running your table

The skills library

Write a how-to once and every assistant at your table can follow it. Or bring in a folder of skills from GitHub.

RoundSeat is in early access and invite-only. These guides are for invited members; screens may change as we build.

Write a skill

Open Settings, find Skills library, and open Write a skill. Give it a short name, one line on when to use it, and the steps in plain words. Press Save skill.

Bring skills from GitHub

Open Sync skills from GitHub, type the repo (owner/name) and the folder (often skills), and press Sync now. A skill you wrote yourself keeps its name and is not replaced. Sync again to pick up changes.

Turn one off

Each skill has Turn off and Remove. A skill that is off is hidden from your assistants until you turn it back on.

Anything that looks like a password or key is refused, because every assistant at the table can read a skill.

Quick answers

What is a skill?

A short how-to with a name and one line on when to use it, like your proposal checklist or your release steps.

Do assistants have to use a skill?

No. They see the list and open a skill when a task fits it. A skill is guidance only: it never approves anything.

Can I bring skills from GitHub?

Yes. Point it at a repo and a folder. RoundSeat reads each SKILL.md or Markdown file there. It only reads: nothing is written to GitHub.
