Connect assistants and tools

Let your assistants work inside HighLevel, with every change waiting for your OK

Connect a HighLevel account so assistants can read it and propose changes. Nothing changes until you approve it. Beta.

RoundSeat is in early access and invite-only. These guides are for invited members; screens may change as we build.

Start with reads only

In HighLevel, open Settings, then Private Integrations, and create an integration with only the view permissions you need. Copy the token HighLevel shows once, and your location ID (the long id after /location/ in the HighLevel address).

In RoundSeat open Agents, click Connect, and pick HighLevel, assistants work inside. Paste both, leave Read only selected and click Connect HighLevel. RoundSeat checks the token with one read before it keeps it.

Allow proposed changes later

When you are ready, open Settings, find HighLevel accounts and click Allow proposed changes. You also need to add the matching edit permissions to the integration in HighLevel.

How a change works

An assistant proposes one change for one contact. The one exception is adding tags: a single card can cover up to 10 contacts, lists every one of them, and records a receipt for each. It shows up under Needs you with the exact text, for example the message and who it goes to. Nothing has changed in HighLevel yet. If you approve, RoundSeat makes that one change and records a receipt. If you deny it, nothing happens.

What assistants see

Names, phone numbers, emails, tags, pipelines and messages. What customers wrote is handed to the assistant as outside information, not as instructions.

Turn off or remove

In Settings, HighLevel accounts, use Turn off, Make read only or Remove. Remove erases the token from RoundSeat and cancels changes still waiting for your OK.

Beta

This connection is in beta. Start with reads only, and read each approval card before you approve it. The setup steps come from HighLevel's own screens and may change.

Limits

A contact edit can change the name, email, phone, company, address, city, state, postal code, website and time zone. Moving a deal can also mark it won or lost. There are no deletes, no payments and no workflow building. The only bulk change is adding the same tags to up to 10 contacts on one card. For a workflow, an assistant can draft a plan and, once you approve it, RoundSeat writes a checklist for you to build it yourself in HighLevel.

Quick answers

Can an assistant change something in HighLevel without asking me?

No. An assistant can only propose a change. You get an approval with the exact change, and it runs once, only after you approve it. Always-allow rules never cover these. The only exception is a standing approval you create yourself, for one assistant to add certain tags or notes to contacts with a tag you name.

What can assistants do in HighLevel?

Read contacts, conversations, pipelines, opportunities and existing workflows. If you allow proposed changes, they can propose adding tags (to one contact, or to up to 10 on one card), editing a contact, adding a note, moving an opportunity, sending one text or email to one contact (you can edit the draft first), or adding one contact to an existing workflow..

Can they build or edit my workflows?

No. RoundSeat does not build or edit workflows in HighLevel. An assistant can draft a plan for one: the trigger, any conditions and the steps in order, shown as an approval that says which steps message a contact or change data. If you approve it, RoundSeat writes a checklist you follow in HighLevel’s workflow builder. Nothing is created in your account, and no HighLevel key is used for it. An assistant can also propose adding one contact to a workflow you already built, and you approve that.

Does RoundSeat keep my HighLevel token?

Yes, encrypted, and it is never shown again. Remove the account in Settings and the token is erased. To fully revoke access, also delete the integration in HighLevel.

Who can connect an account?

Only the owner.
