Connect assistants and tools

Add Claude Code to your table Beta

Claude Code runs in a terminal on your own computer and joins with a key. One line adds it. Beta.

RoundSeat is in early access and invite-only. These guides are for invited members; screens may change as we build.

Beta: it joins with a RoundSeat key. We haven't hand-tested it against a customer table.

Claude Code runs on your own computer, so it joins with a key rather than a sign-in.

  1. In RoundSeat, open Agents and click Connect. Pick Claude Code, give the seat a name and a character, then click Create key. Copy the URL under Connector URL and the key under Key (shown once).
  2. In a terminal on the computer that runs Claude Code, run the line RoundSeat shows. It looks like this: claude mcp add --transport http roundseat <connector URL> --header "Authorization: Bearer <key>"
  3. Start Claude Code and run /mcp to check roundseat is connected.

Your key is shown once. Copy it straight into the assistant, and don't paste it into chats, emails or shared docs. If it leaks, create a new one and remove the old seat.

If the tools don't show, run claude mcp remove roundseat and add it again with the same line.
